Duties

Above all we serve and protect and provide a safe and secure environment for all citizens. 

All of the Ashland City Police Officers have their own patrol vehicle to drive. Each vehicle is equipped with the latest radar, video camera, and radios. Each officer is responsible for his vehicle and maintenance.  Officers patrol 24 hours a day and cover in the city approximately 129 miles of paved road.  The Police Department also provides training to the school which consist of grades K - 4. This is the Ashland City Elementary School. Also we provide fingerprints and bike safety during safety week with the support of Wal-Mart.  The Ashland City Police also have our lock and key program. We assist every citizen with a locked vehicle. This service is free of charge to them.

We have also implemented programs to assist our senior citizens here in Ashland City. These programs are held at our Senior Citizens Center. We have several programs for them.

The Citizens of Ashland City can be very proud of their Ashland City Police Department. This department consist of well trained personnel and officers that are dedicated to their job.

We can be reached during the day at the police department between the hours of 8 to 4:30. Our phone numbers at the office are 792-5618 or 792-1016. These numbers are for questions only and not to dispatch an officer. If an officer is needed call 792-2098 during business hours. After hours call the dispatch at 792-2098. In an emergency please call 911 and an officer will be dispatched for you.
